Round Grey Rattan Basket

This lovely short round rattan basket is a versatile addition to your kitchen. You could use it as a fruit bowl, to store potatoes and onions or to collect fruit and vegetables from your garden.

The rattan is a soft grey colour which is achieved by mixing mud and a local leaf in Indonesia. The basket is submerged in this mix for three weeks then aired for a month. It results in the lovely grey tones but also serves as a natural treatment against woodworm.
