Instructions for use:

• The rubber rings are stretched in place onto the lid of the jars - they remain securely in place once fitted
• It is recommended to use a new rubber ring with each preserve / ferment
• If using this jar for food storage, the seals need to be replaced every 6 months to protect the closing mechanism, jar rim and lid from damage (always replace if you see signs of damage too)
• When preserving using the water bath or pressure canning methods, check the seal after preserving by unclamping - if a vacuum seal has formed, the lid will remain in place
• To release the vacuum seal after preserving, simply pull on the rubber gasket tab.

Care instructions:

• Dishwasher safe but best to hand wash
• If necessary for cleaning, the stainless steel hinges can be removed. Be sure to fix back in place correctly once done.

• Le Parfait glass is a soda-lime-silica glass
