Any item available for purchase from our website is in stock and ready to ship directly from our warehouse. Exceptions to this may be bulk orders, where we may ship directly from our supplier, or pre-sales, special orders or backorders, which will be shipped when they arrive in stock (this will always be clearly communicated within the product heading or description).
As a business which is passionate about sustainability, reducing waste and caring for our environment, we reuse as much packaging as we can. You can expect to see recycled cartons and repurposed newsprint (from our local herald). All of our packaging, including tape and courier bags, are home compostable.
We are delighted to be able to offer free shipping within New Zealand for all orders over $150.
For orders that do not qualify for free shipping, we use flat rates for our shipping charges so there are no unexpected surprises at checkout. Due to the heavy or bulk nature of most of our products, in most cases we subsidise the freight we are actually charged by our courier companies. Due to this, we unfortunately need to pass on the cost of rural delivery. We use the same rural delivery locations as NZ Post (please check their website if you are unsure). You are welcome to have your order shipped to an alternative non-rural address (work addresses are great!) to avoid these additional charges.
North Island (not rural delivery) $7.50

South Island (not rural delivery) $8.50
South Island (including rural delivery) $13.50
Saturday delivery requires an additional ticket which costs $5. If you require a Saturday delivery, please contact us to discuss prior to placing your order. We will process the additional delivery fee separately.
We offer free local pick up from our premises for Gisborne residents. We will contact you once your order is ready for collection.
As we are an online business, we are not open for browsing in our warehouse.
Signature required service
We use a signature required service with Courier Post or PBT for all deliveries. If you would prefer the courier to leave your package in a safe place without collecting a signature then please inform us of this in the comment section at checkout, including where you would like your parcel left. Please note that a courier may not follow the delivery instructions or may deem it to be unsafe to leave the parcel where instructed and leave a Card-to-Call instead.
If a Card-to-Call note is left for you (please check your mailbox or external doors), you can call the courier company directly to arrange re-delivery.
Please note that couriers will not call in advance to arrange a delivery time nor can we request specific delivery times from them when we dispatch your order.
We endeavour to pack and dispatch your items the same day or next day following receipt of your order. Typical delivery timeframes are as follows:
North Island, 1-2 days
South Island, 2-5 days
Rural delivery, an additional 1-2 days
If your order is urgent, please contact us to discuss and note in the comments section at checkout. We will do our very best to dispatch your order the same day and mark the order as urgent but we unfortunately cannot guarantee deliveries outside of the timeframes identified above.
Tracking your order
In most cases, our shipping software will automatically send you an email with a tracking link when we book the courier. In other cases, we will email you a shipping link directly.
