4 items left

Did you know that most baking papers currently available are coated in plastic? This means they cannot be composted and are destined for landfill. If You Care Parchment Baking Paper is made from unbleached, chlorine free parchment paper which is coated in silicone and can be disposed of in your home compost bin.

Roll size: 19.8 m x 33 cm

Uses:

  • Baking and cooking
  • Does not require greasing
  • Can be reused
  • Microwave safe
  • Oven safe to 200oC

What's it made from?

  • Unbleached, chlorine free parchment paper from FSC certified forests.
  • Non-toxic and food safe silicone coating which is derived from silicon found in sand / quartz / rock.
  • The outer packaging is recycled, chlorine free board which is printed with vegetable based inks and dyes.
  • Note, there is no inner cardboard roll or serrated metal strip for tearing. The paper is easily torn using the edge of your bench a pair of scissors.

End of life:

  • The baking paper can be disposed of in your home compost bin (or at a commercial compost facility if available in your area). It is certified for both home and commercial composting.
  • The cardboard packaging should be placed is your kerbside recycling bin.

Product of Finland.

Whilst baking paper is super convenient and makes for easy clean-ups, it is not a necessity. We strongly urge y'all to use traditional methods, such as coating a cake tin with butter and flour to avoid sticking, and save the baking paper for those super sticky or very-hard-to-clean-off types of cooking (our favourite Sticky-Chicken dinner is a nightmare clean-up so we completely understand that some recipes are best executed with the help of some baking paper).
