Regas Spanish Terracotta Cazuela Baking Dishes (6 sizes)

Spanish terracotta cazuelas are traditional baking dishes made from high quality fire proof terracotta clay. They are extremely versatile, you can use them in the oven, as a frying pan, over an open fire or on the BBQ. They are also dishwasher and microwave safe.

With this versatility, you can fry off your meal in the cazuela and then place the dish into the oven to finish cooking. It can then be transferred directly to the table.

These are great baking and roasting dishes, perfect for both sweet and savoury meals. Due to their organic nature, they will add flavour to the food.

Important usage and care instructions (included with item):

These dishes are brittle when new so it is very important that a simple pre-use procedure is followed. If you intend to use on direct heat, please follow the process outlined below.

1. Before use, submerge in cold water overnight. If it is not used often or if the climate is dry, do this again before each use for a short time.
2. Do not put it on the heat empty (i.e. add a little oil).
3. Always begin cooking on a low heat. The heat can be increased once the dish is warm.
4. Do not subject to abrupt temperature changes.
5. Dry thoroughly before storing, especially in humid climates.
6. If placing into the freezer, make sure it is at room temperature first.

Suitable for use on gas, electric hobs, open fire and in the oven.

Dishwasher and microwave safe.
