Whilst baking paper is super convenient and makes for easy clean-ups, it is not a necessity. We strongly urge y'all to use traditional methods, such as coating a cake tin with butter and flour to avoid sticking, and save the baking paper for those super sticky or very-hard-to-clean-off types of cooking (our favourite Sticky-Chicken dinner is a nightmare clean-up so we completely understand that some recipes are best executed with the help of some baking paper).
