I use this for mainly cooking vegetables for pickles and fruits to prepare for bottling. I also use it as a general cooking pot and kitchen bowl and also for gathering produce. It is thin but seems quality and strong and it's nice that it is light weight. For me it's been working very well and has been a really handy addition to my kitchen. I would buy a second one it's so usefull.
