This is a 38 cm diameter preserving pan which is perfect for larger batches of preserves. A great wide opening for mixing, bringing to a boil and evaporating water from your preserves.
Please note that this is NOT a heavy-based preserving pan.
We use this a lot for brining and making pickles and for blanching tomatoes and peaches for peeling.

I use this for mainly cooking vegetables for pickles and fruits to prepare for bottling. I also use it as a general cooking pot and kitchen bowl and also for gathering produce. It is thin but seems quality and strong and it's nice that it is light weight. For me it's been working very well and has been a really handy addition to my kitchen. I would buy a second one it's so usefull.
