The 17 cm Avanti Rough Mortar and Pestle – Grey is a solid granite mortar and pestle designed for crushing and grinding herbs, spices, garlic, nuts and other ingredients by hand.
Made from solid granite, it has a heavy, stable feel and a rough textured interior that helps grip ingredients as you grind. The 17 cm size gives you practical working space for making spice blends, curry pastes, pesto, salsa, guacamole, dressings, marinades and dry rubs.
The rough exterior gives this mortar and pestle a more traditional, natural look, while the non-porous granite won’t absorb flavours or odours – ideal when working with bold ingredients like garlic, chilli and spices.
