Brod & Taylor Folding Proofer & Slow Cooker with Accessory Shelf

The Brod & Taylor Folding Proofer & Slow Cooker gives home bakers precise temperature control for more consistent dough rising and fermentation, without taking over the kitchen between uses.

In proofer mode, it creates a warm, humid environment for yeast dough and sourdough. Set the temperature from 21–49°C to suit your recipe and kitchen conditions, while the supplied water tray provides typical humidity of 60–80%.

The included accessory shelf creates a second level, giving you room to proof two trays of rolls or other smaller items at the same time. For larger bowls, bread tins or containers, simply remove the shelf.

Slow cooker mode operates from 30–90°C and is designed for use with your own compatible pot or Dutch oven. It can also provide controlled temperatures for yoghurt, cultured butter, kombucha, tempeh, kefir and tempering chocolate.

When finished, the side panels fold down and the rack and water tray store inside. The closed unit measures just 6.5 cm high for easier storage in a cupboard or deep drawer.
